507 wheel question: comment
On the MB USA website when building a new 507 car the new wheels are still 18".
I thought they will be 19", if not why they still use wheels that are smaller then BMW and Audi?

Probably the same reason they're not making the AMG sport suspension available in the US either. I suspect it has to do with ride quality issues on crappy roads and/or the possibility of bent or broken rims that can bite them in the a$$ if some litigation-happy US customer decides to give the theory that putting on 19" wheels on the car was a foreseeable manufacturing defect or oversight a go in court.

The 507 package says "18inch forged rims".
It could be a mistake on the website and they could really be 19inch.

507 Wheels question
For the website build, here is the link on the mbusa website for the 507 package: http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl...model-packages
The site does say 18" wheels (which is a bit strange and must be a mistake). Also, the package is only showing for the coupe and not the sedan. I am guessing mbusa.com will be updating the site at some point.
For my build, I'm showing 19" wheels. I got the PO number, print out of the vehicle and saw the status as "Red - no further additions at this time" in the build database at my dealer on Saturday. Looks like the site is a bit behind.
