Does anyone know whether this has actually been done? Ie a conversion of a C63 to a manual transmission?
Its definitely taking some adjustment going from a manual to the MCT, so maybe I will get more comfortable with it, but would be interesting if it was a realistic option.

im sure it can be done. i had a friend who converted his older 209 clk500 to manual using a stock benz manual transmission and all factory parts. however the 63 is going to be a lot trickier because of the power levels. Id say atleast 10k$ as a starting point. If your serious contact wiestec as referenced in your post.
