Track day (circuit) tyres and other setup
Have done a search but not much comes up.
I anticipate soon moving to aftermarket 19" rims and would like to have a set of road legal track day tyres (Aussie spelling - Queens english) on the factory 18" rims.
Track day tyres like road tyres vary between cars. What suits car A does not necesarilly work well with car B.
For those of you who track their C63 and use specific track day rubber, what have you found that works well?
Once I have sorted the tyres I will then need to think about replacement rotors and pads (the current will survive one session but on past experience will then be up for replacement).

I actually use on my 19" inch a set of nitto envoy, I really appreciate them, but I would like to setup a 18" inch with a 00 of treadwear tire like nt01 that could be really nice

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
I have been using the same tires that AMG uses on C63BS and SLS GT.
245/285 Dunlop Race Maxx
They are streetable track tires. Awesome! But expensive.

Thanks for the input.
There have to be plenty of C63s here that occasionally hit the track. Maybe everyone is simply using their daily street tyres.Hopefully a few more people will post with their experience.

I track my Black Series quite often, and i use Bridgestone RE-11. They are fantastic on the track, giving very close to the same grip that R888's do on my GT-R, and they wear great as well. plus they are comfortable enough to daily drive that i don't actually change them out before/after the track.

I run Nitto NT01s 245 / 275 on 18 Forgestar F14s. I drive them around town too. The vibration / noise is not that bad and the NT01s will cord out before they heatcycle out. I've run my Hankook Ventus V12's as well on 19 Stance wheels 245 / 275 and they were rubbish on the track. Greasy way too quickly and less grip than my stock Yokos.
