Yeah, it is stock ride height and I have to tell you, it's amazing. The stance is perfect. I have had H&R, but this car sits perfect.

No, the stripes came off so easily. It was just like peeling a sticker off any number of new products. I had no issues what-so-ever. Easily done for anyone that doesn't want them......provided that they do it right away.

I don't mind at all. The only one that I could find close to Austin was a dealer in San Antonio. I explained to him my loyalty to MB and the frustration I had with my normal guys in Georgetown. Needless to say,

I got a great deal. WITH all the taxes associated to buying a new car, my drive out was $800 less than MSRP.

It varies.
The car looks outstanding! I think the deletion of the stripes improves the look, understated, but with a massive punch! That is what AMG is about.

BTW, get the side mark tinted to complete the whole clean look!

Completely agree. It represents what an AMG should be. Subtle, but with a massive engine and killer torque. Of course, not to mention top-end speed. Thanks. I might be biased, but I think it's the best looking 507 so far. I have not seen another with the "acceleration lines" delete. It makes the car.

Oh, the side-markers are all but gone. They are to be painted body-match color. I do not like the clear or smoked. I want them to be invisible.

The dyno results will be coming in 2 weeks. Progression on the dyno: stock, then with tune, then with tune and headers, and finally with tune, headers and Carbonio airbox. Gonna also try dyno with headers without tune.

Do you think carbonio airboxes are better than row airboxes ?
Although carbonio airboxes seem to be bigger the air intake remains the same IMO.

I will be truthful. Not sure how much, if ANY, gain the Carbonio make. No, the air intake is slightly larger. I know the exterior dimensions of the Carbonio are in fact bigger, there is a slight increase in the amount of air coming in.

But to be very candid, for me it's more of an "accessory" and a looker, almost a show piece if you will. It's just really a nice added touch to see the CF in the engine bay.

Just wanted to be brutally honest.

Fair enough. I myself think it's more of an accessory than a performance gainer.
Well looks like you are building a nice modded 507 soon

Yes, as I stated, definitely an accessory. It just looks good to have some CF under the hood. It just sparkles.

And yes, I am on my way to having this thing modded out just perfectly. A sleeper and well behaved on the street, if you want it to be, but I am adding some significant power.

Stay tuned, it'll be fun!!! And thanks a lot for your support! I love this forum, but more importantly...................I love my car.

I love the minimal, if that, gain that your boxes provide. It has been proven with "slight" gains on the dyno.

But, I cannot tell you how much of a visual difference it makes. Unbelievable!! The quality and weave are outstanding. It just adds such a needed look to the already obscured engine. Kudos to you and your company and product!!!!!!

I haven't decided yet. They are are a kind of matte, so I do not want to stain them with anything harsh. Right now, I am just using mild soap and water.

My brother (1stamg on this forum, former C63 now SLS owner) ran into a guy with an Aventador at a "Race the Runway" event near us (he hit 150mph in the half mile!), anyways, the guy had a crew cleaning his car between runs and they were using windex, without ammonia, on his matte finish and wheels...talked to him and the guy says that is all he uses and it looked great.

So I got some, because I have been gripping on how to maintain them, and it is working really, really good. No stains, streaks and the finish looks terrific.
