Guys I would like to know if there is any way to activate Distronic and Blind Spot Assist on the C63 as mine already comes with it pre-installed.

 

its in the cluster. It should be activated unless someone decided to turn it off. post a pic of your side mirrors and front grill. that'll tell if it really has it.

 

Don't worry man, my side mirror, doesn't have the blindspot light, and my grill does not have the sensor. The software is preinstalled, however in Brazil they remove the parts to stop it from functioning as Mercedes does not offer this here. If you activate nothing happens. BMW does the same, and Audi started doing it as well.

I am planning on buying the radar sensor, and changing the mirror as the rest of the hardware and software is here. I got this info from a maintenance guy of a dealer here in Brazil

 

It is not that simple, just buying two mirror glasses and a radar sensor. you need, a new windscreen, main wiring harness, main control unit, mirror frames, more sensors for your front bumper, new distronic switch, etc. Mercedes factory does not prewire if options are not installed.

 

ya your in for alot of long miserable days of rewiring if you think its just plug and play all the wiring is already there.

 

Why do they remove it in Brazil? I don't understand
