California Drivers Only: Vintage License Plates Pre-Orders
As, I was on-call for work, waiting for something to happen, I was pondering on ways to make my black C63 look more aggressive (e.g. how can I black it out more) and I remembered the old-school black with yellow lettering license plates! With a quick search on Google, I came across this:
http://www.dmv.ca.gov/legacyplates/index.htm
They require 7,500 pre-orders before they will even consider manufacturing it (they are currently at 4,769 for the black vintage plates) by 1/1/2015.
What do you guys think? Tacky? Cool? Worth it ($50 up-front, $40 renewal each year)?

I've been trying to get a "HANG UP AND DRIVE" plate, but no one wants to hang up and drive so it's been quite tough.......
