Bluetooth audio for Older models
Just got Tune2Air for <$100. Works perfectly with IPod adapter.
Always on and needs no power.
Clear audio.
Steering wheel controls work.
Songs displayed in gauge (even with Pandora)
Even starts playing your last IPhone song when you start the car.

I have a quick question for those that have tune2air. I leave the unit plug in the glove box all the time. I noticed that the power don't turn off on the unit. It always try to connect to my phone when I am at home. Does this happen to you guys too? Btw. I park in the garage.

so it's always on? doesn't that seem weird? i have something similar that i got off of ebay here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Bluetooth-Music-Receiver-wireless-ML-D100-Iphone-Ipod-Docking-Speaker-/120940475445?pt=US_MP3_Player_Cables_Adapters&hash=item1c289d3435
it doesn't show up on the display though, but still works perfectly. it just shows up as "Bluetooth Audio". if i could scroll through the songs and stuff via the steering wheel, that might be more ideal and i'd be willing to try the Tune2Air.

Does it support apps like Sonza and stuff? Also where is this device plugged in the car? In 2011 models specifically? Any other accessories needed with it to make it work?
I regret getting rid of my iPhone 5S and getting a Note 3 now. Maybe, I will just get an iPhone again.

Incorrect. You can connect to Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth telephony at the same time. Of course when the phone rings the Audio will turn off and the telephone will take over. But you don't have to manually connect and disconnect back and forth.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the tip on Tune2Air. Bought it and it works great! I have no issues with connection and it's nice that it doesn't interfere with calls.

Can someone who's using it comment on my questions above please??????
Wondering about Android compatibility and the exact way it works prior to purchasing. Does Songza work and stuff....would appreciate if a user could take 2 minutes out to reply.

I use the IPhone... perfect quality... perfect everything except can't pause or use Siri because it appears to always be pressing play each time you try to pause...
