To begin I would stay with sport(+) mode until you get enough runs under your belt, then maybe try M mode if you want to try shifting yourself. ESC completely off, left foot brake, rev between 1200-1500rpm & depending on traction, roll into it or mash it. A decent 60' time with street tires will be in the lower 1.9's & if there's good traction & your running 275's, mid 1.8's.
This summer on a decent day with really good hook up, I was mashing it from 1500rpm & getting 1.84-1.85's

Ya I've been out in the spring & fall with those nice cool temps but if the track is not well prepped, forget it!
Haha...I have been out in the cold weather the last week in the evenings and 10*C and the best I can get on 275 Michelin PSS is 2.4xx. If I even go near the throttle they light right up. I went out last night and it was 3*C and the best I could do was a 2.6xx 60 foot and 13.1xx on my G-Tech...LOL
