That is exactly what happened to me. I was told when I bought the car that any wheel (OEM or aftermarket) would be covered. I bought aftermarkets and curbed the right rear. The insurance company would not cover aftermarket wheels. I cancelled the policy, got a nice refund and had the wheel repaired.

The finance rep later told me that they cancelled that carrier because there have been similar claims as mine that they refused to honor.
