Hey guys Tune question real quick
sorry for my first post being an annoying question, but ive been searching and looking for the passed week for a tune i just cant decide, i was goin to go with the mhp tune but i live in peru and i dooooo not want to send me ecu in, what im looking for is ofcourse the max hp gain but whats equally important for me is quicker shifts and down shifts on the transmission, im coming from the m3 double clutch and this thing feels like a sloth compared too the bavarian and no tune ive seen is very clear on the transmission upgrades

Just do the Eurocharged V4 tune with the handheld. Great customer service and you just plug it into your car under the dash. And you can easily go back to stock if you bring your car in for service.

Yea. I hated the transmission when I got the c63. The shifts are not the same as the DCT but they are much better and seem to be ignored much less.

Manual? No matter how good you are at driving a manual, the c63's transmission is still better. I do believe the MCT is much more refined than the older ones, i had an 09 and i HATED the lag, bought a '13. The newer ones are no real DCT, but theyre good.

You are relying on a "generic" tune rather than a dyno tune so you want to be safe, have a good gain in performance and have excellent customer service. The handheld plug in tuner is the same MyGenius for most of the tune dealers.
Search the threads and you will see that a couple of the sponsors are consistently complimented by their customers. Choose one of them. I am in Australia and I am more than happy with my Eurocharged tune and MyGenius handheld.

Velos does....I got 40HP gain from Eurocharged..not to bad still..470 at the wheel...and 60 from Velos (490)..but my car ran weird with Velos and it shifts were very agressive...Eurocharge is way easier for daily driving and it still pulls hard

Id say Weistec or Eurocharged imho.
Im in the Los Angeles area and Weistec is about 20 minutes from me( big plus)
Eurocharged tunes can be swapped easily with emails,USB and my genius.

I'm also looking hard for a tune for my car, because I'm getting a little bit bored of the power. I might be contacting Eurocharged fairly soon...been doing a lot of research already. I have heard lots of good things about them, and their pricing is spot on as well...what more can one ask for?

as for eurocharged i hear good things about them but they just dont get the numbers the rest of the guys are getting, avery can u go into detail about your experiance with the velos tune? what was weird about it?,aggressive in what way exactly? really brutish engages of the gears?

Agreed that no human can shift as fast as the 7G or MCT. But manual isn't about that. It's about having total control. A manual can't ignore when you want to shift and can't override what you are trying to do. And there's also the feel aspect. You can feel the clutch engaged and disengage and you can feel when you perfectly rev match a downshift and you know you didn't even need help from the synchros. That is why even though I have a C63, I will always have a 3 pedal car also.
