Lug Question?
Hope someone here can help.
I am looking for 37mm lugs to suit 10mm spacers for our cars.
I cannot find any RAD 37mm lugs in stock anywhere.
I have found some 37mm H&R lugs, but they show they are for VW/Audi.
All the specs are the same as our OEM lugs but can someone please confirm these will work on our OEM wheels with 10mm spacers. As far as I can see these will work.
They are 14x1.5mm 17mm head, ball seat. H&R Part No: 1453703
Same part on 2 sites so you can see the specs properly.

Appreciate the help.

Otis Inc LA may have what you need. They have RAD two piece in 37mm or one piece in 40mm that I saw. Not sure about 40mm in the rear with a 10mm spacer but according to Matt it will work. just spin the wheel and listen for a ticking sound before driving. Might be best to call and discuss before you purchase.

It also seems the Audi/VW bolts may have a R13 ball seat and not the R14 ball seat that our cars have. At least those are the specs for Audi/VW on the Otis site.

They will work fine, and yes 40mm works fine on my car with 10mm & 12mm spacers all around. Some members had clicking sound from the abs though.
Good point Mort about the R13 vs R14 ball seat. U might want to check that before ordering. Our OEM doesn't look as rounded as the one shown in your link.

The socket to fit a 19mm bolt head may be too big or very snug in the recesses in the wheels that the lug bolts are in. You are liable to mar up your wheels loosening and tightening the lug bolts. See if a 19mm socket will fit in your wheels without problems first. I would worry about it binding as you are trying to turn it.

Ok last question.
Any reason I wouldn't be able to go 19 Hex over the stock 17 Hex?

They're safe to use - you'll lose about 1.5 turns of the lug bolt which should leave you with perhaps 3 turns more than what is considered the minimum. Not what I would do but no issues IMO.

As a mechanical fitter I can tell you that any length over the threaded section in the hub is wastage. As long as the lugs are flush or slightly proud on the back side you are good to go. Theoretically you could shorten the length if they were too long as long as you kept the lug cool and did not overheat (affecting strength).

What length comes OEM on the 507? Anyone know?
