ECU tune vs 507 package

Once again, not trying to call anyone a liar, but something doesn't add up. That video doesn't make sense either. 30 hp is not making that car pull away like that, maybe 100, but not 30. Every major car magazine shows the difference between non p31 and p31 at around .1 sec 0-60, makes sense given the hp advantage. That car pulled away hard from the other. Maybe a fender, or fender or door, but not car lengths. If u are saying 30 hp will walk like that then the 50 hp+ advantage a non p31 ecu tuned has should demolish it. Dyno results of ecu tuned p31 and non p31 show them almost even, way more then either or 507.

2012 C63 PP, 2012 X3
When I got Eurocharged V4 for my 2012 C63 APX / P31 - it's throttle response was much crisper and it felt faster - as if the throttle opened up to a greater angle and quicker. Conclusion: The car seemed faster right off the bat and when it gets hot, it didn't pull power as much as it did before.
I thought I heard someone saying the P31, 507 and CBS essentially make the same power stock. Not sure.

One thing to note is to look beyond the peak figures - area under the curve is what matters most. The mags' 0-60 test doesn't tell the whole tale; once rolling the higher HP car with significantly more area under the curve will run away from the less powerful car. Higher HP cars with only two propelling wheels will also have a harder time at the launch due to traction, or lack of.
