Question C63 vs 507 Suspention

Hi guys,

A wee question,

Is there any difference between the std C63 204 coupe suspension and the C63 507 coupe suspension?

AND is there any difference between coupe and 4 door saloon suspension?

or is it they are exactly the same?

Cheers RG

I don't think the 507 comes equipped in NA with the P30 suspension, which means it's the same as a base C63.

I can't answer the coupe vs sedan one, I know they both drive, handle, and feel the same to me.

I can't say for sure, but I drove a standard non P31 C63 and a 507 back to back, and it felt like the 507 was more refined over bumps.

In fact, the 507 felt much more comfortable than my 135i, and the base felt less comfy than my 135i. Placebo effect because I really want the 507? Could be.

Was the non P31 C63 pre facelift? There's significant suspension change between the pre-facelift and facelifted cars. The 2012+ C63's handle quite a bit better, especially when the rear end breaks away.

As for the P30 suspension, it doesn't really change much (comparing 2010 P30 vs base), just makes things a bit stiffer and is terrible cornering over bumpy surfaces.

It was a non-P31 2013 vs a 507 2014, but again these were just my impressions

I'm guessing it was a Placebo effect The suspension is the same in a standard C63, P31 C63, and 507.
