I blacked out my chrome fins with glossy black vinyl. The chrome fins slide off, making it really easy to apply the overlay dry and with a hair dryer to shrink around the ends. Sorry about the dark photo.

What on EARTH are you guys doing to your Mercedes Benz? These are not 1998 Honda Civic's folks... Ugly & Ricer.

I would never do these things to a Mercedes Benz. But hey, enjoy being "different". Looks terrible.

Tbh, our C63s have WAY too much chrome to begin with. Vented hoods is actually something that the C63 needs. That engine gets stupid-hot. It's not uncommon for some people to remove the underside plastic shields towards the back of the engine bay to help with heat dissappation.

Plus, to each their own.
