I left the country for almost 60 days last year and did not do a single thing before leaving. Car was exactly as I left it once I returned; no flat spots, started right up.

All of these suggestions are stupid....
You should just sell your car, and buy something else when you come back in 40 days.... Our technology in 2013 is not that far ahead and your car is going to break down when you come back.
