Something is wrong...but what?
#26
my commute is <2 miles and the car never gets warm, today oil never got to 100F
I average 10 mpg or less for these trips and never really stop, I would get even less with traffic or stop lights
the car runs in open loop and very rich until it gets warm, then closed loop
mpg is terrible in open loop

RR Evoque Dynamic, Benz Valente (work hack)
Thanks for all the help.
I guess i should check the gas line for leaks, but again eurocharged found nothing wrong with the car during their inspection.
There is no tune - it is all stock. No check engine light either.
My read out says 27L / 100 KM, which is about 9 MPG. In city driving and no revving / speeding this is much worst than I had expected.

To the OP.
The last few weeks here in Toronto has been killer in terms of snow / cold. Quick question, are you regularly seeing your traction control light come on?
If so, I would bet you are expending extra fuel to spin those wheels without any real traction.

I am in Toronto Canada.. It's been around -20C this week.
I did reset at full tank, end of tank was 27L, I also check the after start read out and it is slightly less, 22-23L/100KM
Most of my drive has been in the city with a bit of highway, not much traffic. I will try to see how it does on a highway stretch.

EDIT: To the OP and everyone saying "check this or that - this is not normal" - IT'S PERFECTLY NORMAL gas consumption at these temperatures in city driving on snow (like Kriston said, the TC is interfering all the time) with fuel that has Ethanol added.

If Eurocharged inspected the car I would be very confident that everything is okay and that the current climate is causing your mileage to be a bit low. When your car is that cold the ecu will run the motor rich in order to have enough vapor to actually make combustion occur.
Enjoy the car, mileage will get better when it warms up

9-10MPG is about what I get when I'm driving all city, with no highway, stuck in traffic idling away & that's with no gunning the car. Seems to be the normal for me since I live in a very crowded city with tons of hills & tons of traffic lol. But when I take it on highway trips I get MUCH better mpg
