Post Akrapovic Evo Install
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone have had a similar issue as mine.
Eversince installing the Akrapovic Evo exhaust on in January, whenever I'm either on C/M/S and when I slam down the accelerator, there are times when the car goes straight to limp mode with the CEL lit up and the message says something like car is not driveable. So I just indicate to the hard shoulder, switch off the engine and restart and its up and running again.
This has happened like 3 times already. Temp is slightly higher than normal as it goes up to 106 degrees celsius (which I think should still be ok!). The past 12 months with just the Stage 1 OE tune and a RennTech CF airbox, I've never had a problem with this.
Appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this. I haven't even uploaded my Stage 2 OE Tune yet!

So u have standard headers with primary cats still in place??
Reason why I ask is when I put my headers on and left the stage one tune I was getting hesitation but no check light

Yup standard headers are still on.. where are the primary cars located?
Hmm, I think I'll need to get it checked out at the garage.. wondering what's triggering the CEL. Could be one of the sensors.

The Primary Cats are left on the end of the headers.
I understand the Check Engine Light is the yellow exclamation light that lights up on the left side of the Speedometer. Top of my head, the message on the speedo says something like "vehicle is not drivable". I'll take a picture of it when i get it again.
No I don't have an OBD reader. Do are cars use OBD or OBD2?
