- World Premiere: Eurocharged V5 Tune + Blip TCU Upgrade! -
V5 changes: Even more top end power essentially, some minor mid range tweaks as well. Power still kicks in at 2500rpm, but the biggest difference is 5000rpm+. I am coming from base 507 tune (increased to V4 spec of course) on my ML63 so gains are obviously less than would be from a stock C63 AMG (at 450HP spec).
This is a pretty bold statement, I understand your excitement, that sound puts a smile on everyone's face but this by no means can be true.
lol, Im loving your responses here. 20hp wouldn't even be detectable in an ml63. If you already have the v4 tune do you really think v5 is some game changer? Like all of a sudden eurocharged figured out a way to make a ton more power for an engine thats been out 8yrs? Sure maybe it makes a tad more power or runs smoother, causes less check engine lights or sensitivity to when people try to install stuff and do it wrong that causes problems and now has the addition of throttle blips for those who never had it yeah!. No way is it as quick or comparable to an mct, hell why dont we start talking about how it shifts faster than the sls dct too. As for the guy with the wiestec valvebody upgrades... im sorry but your transmission is as good as its going to get.
Some of ya'll need to come back down to planet earth.
want to 600whp on just a tune? go get a v12 lol.
Those who have it and are in the know can verify. I never though a conventional auto could ever be this fast/good.
My hats off to eurocharged for pulling off a miracle

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
As for the extra 20bhp at the top end .... maybe maybe not, but I doubt your butt dyno can tell an extra 20bhp on a 500bhp+ car that call will have to be mae on a dyno, if they do roll out V5 map I'm sure Eurocharged will have done more than an extra 20bhp peak, it will be an overall improvement (if an improvement can be made) with a pay off of extra top end power, as these guys do brilliant full range maps without targeting just peak headline figures.
Needless to say .... I'm excited at the prospect !
I've been on different platforms for a long time. People who understand cars knows there shouldn't be 5 generic versions of tunes. Custom maybe.

I'm sorry but that is a very prehistoric way of looking at it, almost all cars modern cars use a very complex software system in which the ecu no longer deals with only engine data, so as software is developed to extract the engine data for the tuners to modify, there becomes new ways of utilising and exploiting the cars existing hardware to get more out of it.
You only have to look around at everyday objects to see how things progress, your Computer, TV, Phone, iPod, Printer, Coffee maker, Fridge even! (I could go on all day) all receive software updates to improve performance!
Why should your car be any different?
Id rather be a customer of a company that continually wants to improve its products and offer updates to its customers, than a company that sells a product and thinks f*** it, were done we have made our money, now we don't care.
And is it wasted R&D time ? No, because as all the hype picks up about a new updated product, it will more than likely provide more advertising and bring in new customers.
Gone are the days of flash and forget.
EC...?
Glad I was tuned before 13' ended if this is the case.
Looks nice from what I can tell in that small pic...
