2013 C63 AMG
Michelin Pilot Super Sports / Tire Pressue

Hey guys,

Ive had my 2013 C63 AMG coupe with the AMG development Package for about 8 months now and decided i was sick of the stock Continentals and Decided to upgrade to what I think is one of the best tires out there in the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Im riding stock sizes:

255/35-18 In the Rear
235/40-18 In the Front

I just picked up my car from the dealer after an alignment and the mounting of the tires and the paper work they gave me showed 36Psi in the fronts and 39Psi in the rear. But the car tire pressure monitor show 46 in the front and 47 in the rear. Weird??

Also the max PSI is 50 but can anyone give me a recommendation on optimum tire pressure. I mainly do city driving in a major metropolitan area but i like to ride aggressive.

Many thanks in advance.

-J.

2014 C63 Coupe
Front: 39 to 42 cold
Rear: 42 to 45 cold. I keep it on the high side to increase the wheel protection while driving in Damascus (Houston).

I keep mine at 40-41 cold on all four corners (if anything I'll do 41 in the front and 40 in the rear)..but usually 41 in all four corners

Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
I find that 39/41 cold offers a good ride quality.

I go with 1-2 psi lower than the highest recommended on the gas cap door. I like the ride and I get even wear across the thread

Maybe they inflated them to 36/39 PSI when they fitted them but then took the car for a little "test drive" and they have warmed those tyres up nicely, now reading 46/47!!
