I will not be running the Wannagofast Chicago half mile event this year. I am running the entire USCA Ultimate Street Car Racing Series and Road America is that same weekend. First race is at Laguna Seca 3/7-3/9. I am running Michigan Mile and Texas Mile with the CLK however.

ya kinda bunk. Because of the angles (or some crap) coming in for the airshow they need more time to prep the runway etc. I guess they require a full sweep before and after every run they do. Hence, we will only get maybe 3 runs all day with scheduling. They assumed 2 runs in the am and one late afternoon.

lmao...I get that a lot... That's the current gf.. and the best part is she races. She was running the E55 down the michigan mile more then I was

I think I would have to say the SLS simpy becuase the DCT trans is so quick and crisp and the car has a very balanced feel to it not to mention it is a true exotic sports car. The massive raw power of the CLK is unbelievable. The C is awesome becuase it catches so many people off guard including some modded GTRs. I'm not sure you can call it a sleeper, but most people are expecting it to be a 12 second car when they line up with it, when in reality it's a mid 10 second car.

What a line up Jim! I also wonder why you don't round things out and pick up an SL65BS. They look just unbelievable and are rare as hens teeth. Surely Weistec could squeeze a few more hp out of that V12 too

the sl65 black would be a cool addition. but short of trying to make it a mile car or something along those lines. It really doesnt do anything particularly well other than look amazing. Having 1st hand experience it's very special with tons of changes all over the car from a regular sl65- alot more than i expected, but it's still too heavy and cant get any traction until around 80mph.
it's badass to see such rare cars next to eachother. And lets be realistic 2800hp is a bit of a sand bag. more like 2800whp
The sls transmission is by far the best part of the car in comparison to the rest of the amg line up, combine that with the dry sump, carbon brakes and exetreme rarity, it's an easy winner
