Snowmuch...you're in Calgary as well? Have you been driving your car in the winter? How has it been? Do you have any other mods?

I got the car about a month ago with no mods. Haven't tried it in winter yet.

Mine's been in the garage for the most of the winter too even though I have a set of winter (OEM 18") rims and tires. Too scared to let it get messed up with all the rock chips we get plus I could use new winter tires as it still slips a lot in snow with these ones. If you end up ordering the single fin grille, let me know, I am interested in that as well.

What's your winter beater? I had a c300 before and the rock chips were not bad after 2 winters.

We have a few cars in the family so I can always switch around but I've been driving the Escalade most of the winter as I do lot of highway driving between Calgary and Edmonton. Although that being said I think I am pulling out the C63 this weekend.

I'm planing on taking my c63 to Edmonton soon. How much gas do you use back and forth?

If I use cruise control at a reasonable speed, I can do a one way trip in about half a tank or so.

Oh that's not bad at all. Also what's your l/100km average at? I'm getting around 17l/100km mixed of highway and traffic in Calgary.

To be honest, I've never paid enough attention to see what mileage I am exactly getting plus I haven't driven the car on a full time basis this whole winter pretty much. But the way I drove, I'd get like 300-350 km's per tank at the most. In my C350 before this, I'd see even 600-700 km's at times. lol

You get 700km per tank on your c350?? I was getting 400 500 km on my c300 and about 300-350km on my c63 so switching to c63 wasn't that big of deal for me..

Umm maybe I am exaggerating about the C350? I do know that the range after a full tank of gas would show somewhere around 650km, just not sure what I actually ended up getting. I've got a heavy foot so probably not even close to that. And same thing with the C63.

Thanks...I did it 4 years ago....with a W204 grill

Just breakin some b@lls

This mod has been done time and time again...there are several posts documenting it....all you do is some slight mods and they pop right in.

Its not like you're tubbing the car....you're just trimming a grill....

Just saying

Hasn't arrived yet from 55Tech, the snow this weekend in the DC area messed up delivery to the airport. Should be here tomorrow and will have some pictures of it on.

IMO and just based on pictures, it looks completely different and better than the SL style grill above. So I think, if of a good quality, it will fill a nice void instead of buying the OEM one that still leaves gaps around the edges.
