Which is nicer wheels? keep the silver lining or full black?
I recently had a set of Brabus Monoblock VI 2 piece wheels refinished and decided to go with the all black finish. But to add some depth and contrast, I went with matte black for the main wheel and a gloss black lip. I kept the polished Brabus center caps and had the bolts hand polished. The wheels used to be gloss black with a chrome lip.
IMO the chrome is more of a hassle to clean as it shows the brake dust a lot more and is more susceptible to damage and corrosion from chemicals and road salt. I live in NY so if I have the need to get them refinished again if one gets a curb rash or something, it's much cheaper and easier to find someone who powdercoats wheels rather than chrome plating. I've been told that most chrome platers are on the west coast so shipping can get pricey. Attached are the before and after pics.

I am wondering which will look nicer and better on white c63 wheels, keeping the lining or making it full black! if I want it black how shall i do it? or what is the best way you recommend! I am going to be tinting the windows black, wrapping the grille gloss black and even the chrome. so what do you think guys!
