I am very curious about the exact implementation of the steering wheel in regular C63 AMG vs. what we have in Edition 507. For some reason, the steering feels really good (better than current m5, at least). I got wondering, is it a mechanical / hydraulic setup or pure electric?

You have traditional hydraulic steering. None of that electric crap.

Wow, thanks for that. This explains why the steering feels so connected (at least in my head) and it unwinds so nicely as well from the apex out to the straight.

Agreed. I think the steering is one of the best attributes of the car. It's perfectly weighted and has great feel.

Seconded. I try to tell the die-hard E9X M3 guys all the time that the steering feel on the C63 is just as good, if not better, than the M3's but they refuse to accept that AMG has made major strides in the driving dynamics department since the introduction of the W204 C63 (and particularly the LCI model, which got a heavily revised/improved suspension).
