Test drive a 2014 Cadillac and get a $100 Visa Prepaid Card
Rest assure i didn't buy it

Let's start with the positive: it is a beautiful car well designed exterior and interior. Everything is modern and luxurious. Parking assist, rearview camera, recaro memory seats, leather, GPS, blahblahblah... 19 inches wheels, brembo brake (same as the C), 2pc rotors, magnetic suspaension. Not too sure what it is i need to google it. Engine wise it is the 6.2 V8 supercharged 556hp. It is fast, good torque from start or rolling.
The negative: first thing that put me off was the exhaust sound. Not really loud for a cold start. Car was in a showroom and they had to drive it off so they started it indoor and it wasn't impressive! As well under acceleration no sound at all even with my windows down. I was missing the AMG growl which made it so boring. As for the transmission it is a 6 speed auto tranny. Only 2 mode auto or manual. I didn't really tested it but for normal driving it was OK. As for the fuel consumption it looks like this car is drinking more gas than the C. I did a long highway stretch putting it in cruise control at 75 and i was doing 18/19mpg (i usually do 20/21 in the C). The car was feeling heavier.
Anyway it is turning heads but IMO a tweaked exhaust would make it even more attractive. All this can probably be done with aftermarket parts and cheaper engine mods could make it a 700HP beast but it wasn't enough for me to pull the trigger

I came back home and drove the c63 right away!lol! Damn i love my car!
Oh and my 100$ should be in the mail in about 2 weeks
Thanks for sharing OP.
The Vsport is on similar lines along Msport and AMG sport package but it's a separate trim level with a different (a very potent) engine. A TT 3.6 V6. This Vsport basically fills gap between the CTS and the upcoming CTS-V.
The Vsport will go head on with the BMW 550 and the soon to be dead MB E550.
It handles better than both. And is priced at pretty much the same price point.
The Vsport is far from "just a sedan with a V6". Lol.
Cadillac has gone way ahead of the game and has given its Vsport a state of the art suspension - one of the best engines in its lineup - and loaded it with all doodads available and at 70k, it barely barely undercuts the E550 or the 550i sedan.

The M Sport models come with the same suspensions as the "Sport Package" (E90) and "Sport Line" (F30) cars.
I was just analogizing and indicating that the V Sport cars aren't "true" or full-blown V cars. F Sport is the Lexus "in between" offering.
