Allignment

So I just got my coilovers and wheels installed. It's sitting really nice now. Coilovers obviously come with camber plates. And I don't want to do an oem alignment. I want to do negative 2 degrees of camber in the front. What should I do in the rear. Thanks guys! I'll post pictures after everything !

-2 camber in the front is in the stock specs. Rear sits around -2 to -2.30'
Most coilovers dont have adjustable camber plates. Whats wrong with oem specs? I'd aim for as close to oem as you can. You realize if your car is excessively low it ruins the suspension geometry and actually makes it handle worse. There's no factory camber adjustment in the rear so you'll need an aftermarket solution for that.

As roadtalontsi said there is no adjustment in the rear unless you add aftermarket parts. With H&R (20mm drop) springs I get about -2 * in the rear. I have K-Mac adjustable bushings in the front and I am running about -1.5*. Before camber bolts I was running -2.15* on the front and after install the bolts I was running around -1.7*.

I just recently had some KW V3's installed and I selected from shops that are capable to do 'corner balancing'. I specified to keep handling performance the highest priority - then lower it as much as possible that does not adversely affect handling. Did you take the same approach?

Sitting max low looks cool that's for sure but I recommend an installation that maximizes handling.

Good point Clark. Care to share your height settings for front and rear. I'm scheduled to drop my car off at the end of the week and want to give the shop proper guidance on the ride height to go with "close to" OEM alignment.

I would share but I don't have much detail about height. Installers told me that the rears are as low as they go and the front was dropped, dropped, dropped until the balancing went out of spec so they micro-adjusted back up until balancing reached an optimum point. They left compression & rebound at KW factory settings and left those adjustments up to me to experiment with.
