C63 amg

C63 AMG 2009 ( iPhone 5 music )

Hi can someone please help me I have a 09 C63 and it has a aux lead with a 30 pin (iPhone 4) in the glovebox I have just bought the apple 30 pin to lighting but I still can't get my music in the screen to change songs . It plays through aux but I can't change songs or charge I take someone eles has had this problem ?sorry I have an iPhone 5

So in the Glovebox you have the 30 pin cable for iphone4? The factory Mercedes 30 pin?

Just buy a Tune2Air and use that with iphone 5.
Works great for me.

Is the 30 pin to lighting adapter from Apple? Some third-party adapters (especially from china) seem to only charge the phone. Try using an apple approved adapter. If that doesnt work, this might help http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3581.

Just to be sure, you ARE changing songs through the steering wheel buttons right? I don't believe the 09s can change songs through the center screen.

Seriously, just buy the Tune2Air... all functions available and song display... don't buy any other model... limited functionality on others.
