Installed Distronic Star On Facelift Grille- PICS
As title says, i bought the Facelift grille that everyone else bought.
I have always wanted distronic on C63 (not an option on my Pre FL C63).
Anyway, besides the distronic, being such a useful feature, i have always loved the star on distronic stars (flat star)
So i got OEM star, and took the other star off and put this on.
What do you guys think?
For those who wanted to know about if the star on the FL grille was OEM star, its not. I discovered that when taking it off. No part numbers on it.
Anyway, enjoy the pics. Opinions?
Next i will probably PlastiDip the outer chrome (ala 507 Edition). If i like it, i will get it done properly in gloss black.
PS- I did a before and after VBOX, and distronic star shaved my 0-100 times by .2 of a second. Must be the better aerodynamics of it? LOL

Shame its been around since early 2000's and no one options there car with it. I feel like about 10% of 2010+ sclass's have it, but thats still way too few cars for such a great feature. It's only an additional 2-3k$ and worth it the first time it prevents a collision or you take a road trip.
