Tire thread once again!
Hey everybody,
Know this question has been beaten to death, but I havn't really been able to find a sure answer on the forum search.
I just picked up some 19x8.5 ET35 (F) and 19x9.5 ET50(R) wheels and am looking to pick up some Michelin PSS for them, but I'm kinda lost on tire size due to too many conflicting answers. I plan on running 235/35 and 275/30, but I'm reading that I should run a bit thicker up front and that the 275 might rub. Also the current tire shop I wanted to go to is out of stock on 275/30 but do have 265/30.
Will I regret running 265 instead of 275? I'm also on stock suspension right now but do plan on putting on H&R springs later on.

Lots of guys run 275 on stock suspension. If you want to run springs you should be ok too, except for pulling out of steep driveways and big bumps it will rub. If you want an aggressive coilover setup stick with 265.

I run (PSS) 245's on the front and 265 (on 9.5") and 275 (on 10") on the rears on two different sets of 19" wheels. The listed difference in tread width between the 265 and 275 in PSS is only 0.3." If I had to do it over again I'd stick with 265's on the rear. And why only 235's on the front? Maybe you like that nose-pointed-down look but I don't.

I am running stock suspension and the only rub I've had running 285s in the rear is on tilt and over bigger bumps. I seems to be only the right side. if you stick with stock suspension I don't think you'll have a major issue front or rear. definitely run 245 in the front, feels much smoother during cornering.
