best way to collect oil sample?

I was going to order the $30 pump from black stone, but before i did, I wanted to check in with you guys and see what you used. thanks.

I have a Silverline mityvac pump that I use with a long hard plastic tube I got when I did air bags on my truck. I am sure the silverline was more than $30 but I already had it.

If you're doing a mid-OCI oil analysis that's the best device to extract a sample. Otherwise it's not necessary IMO. I have a Pela extractor and just plug the container and gently shake it up a little after the oil's been pulled up, then pour out the sample.
