Input on getting my car serviced
Time to get the ***** serviced!
It's saying 1500km until service and I'm wondering what extra things I should be getting done since the car has 88k km(55kmiles) on it. Read a few things and the list looks like:
diff fluid change
brake fluid change
tranny fluid change (this was done at 60k km(38 k miles) - do I need to do it again?)
coolant flush (isn't this like a 10 year thing? On most cars it is)
Inspect Condition, Leaks, Of Components, Lines & Hoses
Inspect Poly-V-Belt
Check & Correct Engine Coolant Protection
Check Front Axle Ball Joints
Inspect Drive Shaft Flex Disc
Brake System, Check & Correct Fluid Level
Check Brake Pad Thickness, Front & Rear
Replace Brake Fluid
Brake Test, Parking Brake Check
Power Steering Fluid, Check & Correct Fluid Level
Check Steering Play
I'm just going to my buddy who owns his own shop and giving him a piece of paper with the list I want him to do.
Anything else? Bearings?
Already had the oil change 1k km ago, air filters replace and cabin filter done.

Go into the Engineering menu and it will tell you what service(s) are due. Get your Service Book and it will tell you what each service entails. You can also reset your service indicator in the instrument cluster. The service indicator should probably have been reset when the oil and filters were changed.

How is the service indicator programmed to pop up?
Because once you reset it will eventually come back at intervals. Is it set manually or from the factory?
