Twin Turbo
Just keep the wheels. They look good on the car.

Personally, I like the black ones much more.

Those silver wheels on the red are simply epic. Ya, they're stock wheels but still one of my favorite designs. I don't see any reason to change them (except for winter).

They're the same as all factory 19" C63 wheels: 8X19 44mm offset in front and 9X19 54 mm offset in rear.

Here in Canada the black ones are forged while the silver ones are cast. I'd keep the forged ones, but that's just me...

Doubtful. According to the US 2014 Ordering Guide, both code 785 (standard silver) and 793 (optional black $1,000) are forged. I can't imagine them making a cast batch of the silver ones for Canada.

Perhaps the cost of the black finish lead some to believe the construction is different?

You are correct they are both forged (they are exactly the same)....in Canada the black ones are a $500.00 option...not sure why you US folks have to pay $1000.00

Where did you guys see that the silver ones are also forged? I am not disputing it - I am just curious. Yes, the black ones are a $500 option on the Canadian 507 but they are the only ones that are described as forged on the MB Canada config site. The finish on the two-tone silver wheels obviously takes more time and effort than the plain black so I thought that would be the reason why.

https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...7_dog_v1.2.pdf

Pages 3, 5, 6 and 7.

I have an older version and it says $1,000 for the black. This version says that's an estimate, so they might have lowered that in the US too.

Thank you. Strange they omitted it from the Canadian MB site - it led me to believe only the black ones were forged. It's also interesting that in Canada they bundle all the options together into two packages, whereas almost everything is available separately in the US. I wonder why that is.
