Race Start Limit?
I was reading up on the S4 forums and there seems to be a 200 launch control count for the DSG cars, was wondering if our 63's also had a limit to it?

The C63 book says that if you use RS several times in a row it's locked out until you drive the car for some number of miles. "Several" and "some number" are not defined.

I've used it at least 100 times, mostly because it makes a ton of noise with headers lol I've only run into where it wouldn't engage once, Black Friday last year at island drag way it was cold and not many people so I was able to get a bunch of passes in a short time. At one point I made several passes hot lapping and it eventually told me race start not available. After that I just gave it at least a few minutes between runs and it's always worked.

i havent heard of an actual number but supposedly with alot of use it will stop working. Obviously this number will vary and is way over 200 times. At this point the car will need to go to mb, eeprom data will be sent to germany and either a special recalibration software update made for it or if the data shows worn out parts time for a new mct unit (not the whole transmission just the multiclutch unit that goes in place of where a torque converter goes) I've never seen this need done and know alot of people that just abuse their cars non stop. However potential exists in the future. If the cars under warranty it'll be covered so no worries there.
