2013 C63 sedan rear bumper sensor loose
hi everyone, i was in a fender bender and not much damage was dealt to my car. the main issue is that one of the sensors in the rear bumper is loose and i was wondering if anyone knew how to pop it back in? is it something easily done or do i need to bring it to a shop? i can reach the sensor from underneath the car, but i cant figure out how to snap it back in. thanks

The best way for doing this is to remove the bumper cover to see what you are doing.
But i'm sure with the rear of the car lifted you can try to snap it on. The sensor actually clips onto some type of plastic piece by the 2 edges on its side (see pictures). So all you need to do is pushing the sensor in. The tail (where the wiring harness connects) of the sensor has to be horizontal.

i actually found a pic that looks like what i have. that whole plastic piece attached with those 2 flap looking things on the side of it is what i have loose. im guessing its something i would need to attach back using some sort of adhesive.
