Yea, it is more expensive to wrap it, but I don't think it would be too expensive and if you have a decent shop around it is fairly easy to do. Wrap also looks much better.

Anyone try to wrap their own trim? I've watched a bunch of youtube vids on the subject, and it doesn't look too hard with a good product like 3M 1080. I wouldn't try and wrap my car or side mirrors, that's for darn sure, but I think I might be able to pull off some of the trim pieces around the windows, and I'd even try some of the horizontal elements from the grill. I've ordered some samples (gloss/satin/matte black, etc.) to see what might look best.

Anyone done this at home? I'd have a pro do it but haven't found anyone local here in NJ yet. Thx
