Obtaining extended warranty on 2011 C63
I recently bought a 2011 C- 63, with 15,000 miles, in CA,still has manufacturers warranty until November of 2014.
I spoke to the local dealership, and they stated that I could not get the Mercedes-Benz extended warranty. Do you mind telling me how were able to obtain the extended warranty? Thank you very much.

It depends on the car's history.. meaning how did it go from factory to you. If sold at an auction at some point, MB would likely not offer the extended warranty.
Since Dealer info varies widely, you should check with either someone like Erin Mahre of MB Santa Rosa. 707-521-3996.
If no go, there are numerous other options. A search of recent post related to ELWs will show you some options.

Same thing happened to me. 2011 C63 with 23,000 miles and 6 months more of factory warranty. I am the third owner but the second owner bought from a local MB dealer and did not want to pay the premium for a certified used car. So the dealer downgraded the car to not be certified and the second owner saved some money. But that was enough to make the car ineligible for the factory extended warranty. I find MB to be not very customer friendly.
