My new 2014 c63 507 coupe
Hey guys, new around here. Long time member on 6speedonline,
Anyway, traded in my 06 carerra 4s fully optioned last weekend for this beaut. '14 c63 507, loving it so far. 35% tint all around done, might remove the resonator next week for some more grunt.

Had the resonator removed.
The car definitely needed it, prop that v8 to life. Not to loud, but forsure sends a message. (no drone either)
My only thing against the car so far, is the transmission. It seems Amg just cant get a hang of the dual clutch tranny yet, the shifts would be quicker, downshifts feel a bit off I dont know. Compared to new bmws ive driven (the 8spds) its a much better setup.
With that said im sure the new gen will be improved upon.

Not sure what that means. This car doesn't have one, but AMG does. It was used in the SLS and, most lately, in the CLA45. Are you saying that transmission isn't quite right either, or just that the C63 didn't get it?

The transmission just feels inadequate compared to the rest of the car
Not being able to double click downshifts to go down 2 gears for example. Maybe im just being picky

And don't get me wrong. This transmission leaves a lot to be desired. I can start in second in C but not M. That makes no sense either. But we can't blame it for not being dual-clutch when it's not dual-clutch. I hope the next one is better too.
