Keep 19" multispokes or not?
Hey everybody, just wanted to get a second opinion from some people before I go ahead and do this.
I recently purchased a new set of summer wheels and tires and now have a set of 19" multispoke with summer tires and a set of 18" 5-spoke with winter tires lying around. I'm starting to run out of garage space and want to get rid of one of these sets.
I really do love the multispoke wheels and want to keep them as my winter tires, but that would take another chunk out of my pocket. Also I'm not sure how well they will hold up in the canadian winter and will probably end up being ripped up. (anyone use them for the winter want to chime in?) Also the prices out there for 18" rims is pretty low... and I don't know if its worth the trouble.
Its either that or I keep my 18" rims and just sell my multispokes with about 75% tire life on them. If anyone is interested within the GTA area let me know! Both sets are in perfect condition and have been only used for one season, not to mention that both have been driven on for less than 3-4k
Thanks!

If you don't care which set you keep definitely sell the multispokes. They are worth significantly more - in the US at least, I'd think Canada would still be similar. Plus you have more options in a winter tire with the 18" rim size.

Black C63 507 Coupe
i took my 507 rims off for the first 6 months i owned the car. bought some cheap 18s to cruise around in during the snow months - althought i didn't curb it anywhere, there is a pretty high chance.
those 19 multispokes are so beautiful. I'd definitely buy them but i already have 2 sets :|

Honestly I love the look of the OEM 19" Multispokes. I personally wouldn't go for an aftermarket wheel just cause I love how they look. Which is why I am running them as my summers and 18" as winter. If I ever feel like changing, I will get them powder coated black or something at the most.

I make this post knowing it is against the grain and many opinions on this forum including yours op.
I personally do not like the OEM 19's. There are many reasons for this, but most of all because I prefer the look of far less spokes. They are obviously also a pita to clean.
I would keep the OEM 18's as I prefer the design over the 19's. You can also pull a decent amount of cash from selling the 19's pending the condition of them.

Tough choice!! What wheels did u buy?
Definitely sell the OEM 19's, it is worth a lot more than the OEM 18's.. Although I love my multispoke & would never sell them.. Unless I get 8 888.88$ for them.

Assuming that your aftermarket 19's are forged wheels, I would sell the OEMs. You don't need 2 sets of 19's. Your winter tire choices for the 19's will be more limited than the 18's. 19's ride like crap in the cold and pothole ridden areas. When you switch out your summers for the 18's in the winter, you'll realize how much more comfortable the 18's ride.
