Well it's no 'issue' that I know off per se, but if it was all replaced and fixed, why would you really worry? Perhaps there was a theft attempt or something, who knows. You can always ask the seller for details.

Hello all, new member here. Just needed some advice. I'm close to finishing a deal on a used 507 C63 with about 4k miles on it and car is in another state but it looks clean overall and CarFax looks clean except for one thing I noticed. Obviously its hard to say without me actually personally seeing it, but I cant do a trip currently.
Well anyways before it was offered for sale, it states on the CarFax that the Steering Column repaired, Steering Lock Replaced, and Ignition Switch Replaced. Is this a common or well known issue, or is it something I should be worried about? Any advice, comments, or helpful info would be greatly appreciated!

Is it the car in Buena Park, CA?

Steering column repair isn't all that uncommon. The motors for moving the column in and out often (somewhat) fail. Regarding the ignition, no idea; but, maybe the owner was having keyless go problems?

You give car thieves way too much credit. Sounds like an attempted "theft of opportunity" by some junkie. A professional car thief would know about the system, sure, but most car thieves are amateurs at best.
Yes, a steering column repair isn't uncommon, but "Steering Column repaired, Steering Lock Replaced, and Ignition Switch Replaced" together seem to point at only one thing.
