Quick Review,
Got the tune on the car today. Went from stock to the v5 tune and man the car is definitely louder and i can definitely feel the increase in power! Loving it, and this is just based on city driving, cant imagine how it will be on the highway.
Special shout out to Jerry & Phill from Eurocharged.
Thanks a lot for the quick replies to the emails today. I had heard about how good the customer service is at Eurocharged and today i experienced it first hand. You guys have a new fan.

Installed V5 yesterday and I (and my son) can definitely feel the difference. Not sure how much different it would be with 93 octane, but only 91 is available in Tucson. The shifting seems to have changed for the better as well, but I'm curious why this would be. I would appreciate anyone with knowledge to explain the interaction between the ECU programming and the TCU, and why I would feel a difference.
While the instructions and expectations of what I would see in the MyGenius software and handheld didn't really mesh, the guys at Eurocharged were there and answered questioned almost immediately.
Anyway, I'll continue to evaluate over the next few days.
Regards,
Joe

I made a moron move - got my config file uploaded to mygenius fine, went into my car, and didn't turn the key to position 2 as instructed. Instead only turned it to position 1, ran the mygenius software, and it cycled through a whole bunch of menus. Then it wanted to go into the "write" mode, which I realized was no good since I don't have my tune yet (haven't yet read the original ECU file or sent it to eurocharged), so I stopped the process. Now, if I connect it again it wants to write even though it didn't read (since I never turned the ignition to position 2). I gave eurocharged a call and left a message, but anyone know how to fix this? I figure it's some sort of easy reset but need some help. I just need to set it up to read again. Thx
PS please ignore the SEVERE irony that I posted a few times already to "follow the directions" for folks asking for help. I guess I deserved this. Boneheaded karma served up for me!

Well, there is an .fpf file on the handheld and I did send it to Jerry at eurocharged, so who knows, maybe it worked. Fingers crossed and thanks for the really helpful feedback! I'm hoping he can take a look at it and see if it's corrupted, etc., and if I need to reset the device or start over somehow. But we'll see, maybe it worked even though I'm boneheaded...
thanks again

Yup, that's the file, and I totally realized that I had it in position 1 when I looked up and saw the fuel tank at 0. Removed the my genius, cranked it over to 2, and saw the gas gauge move up. Then I realized I'd bunked it up. But I did end up with MYFILE.fpf. I was so worried about having the AC on because it was 90+ F here today and my radio on that I missed that key piece. But fingers crossed it hopefully worked out OK. Again, thanks for the help and soon I will increase the neighborhood C63 terror!

Hey folks,
I finally got my tune and went through the process of flashing it.
It all worked well, so I decided to flash back the original to test.
Instead of writing, it said recovery and it flashed the original fine.
Unfortunately now I can't write the tune anymore as I'm stuck in recovery. I tried to reupload the tune as well but didn't change anything.
Sent an email to Jerry as I really don't want to lose the original (though he said the original was within the v5 tune).
Any ideas?

Jerry was hella fast to answer!
My mistake was that I removed at the ECU error clearing step duh.
I'm all set and boy I'm excited. It doesn't even sound the same!!

Maybe the software and system is somewhat dummy proof?
