Ya'll have a bunch of prima donna C63's! lol.

Mine spends almost all the time outside because my ****ing race car is broken 90% of the time and taking the space in my garage.

However, I live in the Bay Area CA where we don't have extreme weather.

Like Ingenieur said, I keep it washed and waxed. My only concern is interior damage from the sun. I typically have a windshield shade and the rear shade up when parked.

So set on keeping mine inside I rented a storage garage near my house to keep mine in since I only have a two car garage with my daily '14 JGC and my finance's Acura. Just swap out my vehicles the night before when I want to drive her!!

I have an apartment so my 09 is outside 24/7. I have had it outside in winter, rain, etc. I work for a dealer so it gets washed quite frequently. Just ordered some products from Chemical Guys so we will see how nice and shiny she will get

I thought about that. I did some calling around at local storage facilities and they thought like I was nuts asking for a unit to keep my car in? I figured I could pick it up Saturday, swapping cars, and bring it back Sunday to store for the week until I buy a house with a garage.

I thought the ground floor storage spaces would be a common shelter for cars, but apparently not. Figured it must have something to do with liability and gas in a unit....?

I wouldn't feel like this if it wasn't for the fact that the car is pristine and was clearly garage kept before I bought it. I hate breaking the streak.

I have been relying on the OEM car covers for the last 4 years....
just got a new one for my cls(covered all week) and a new one for my s(covered on weekends) too.......
of course a garage would be ideal, but if the beast is outside a good, fitted car
cover would be a great purchase.......just my pennies worth

In a garage at night, that's what garages are primarily for (sarcasm). At work either outdoors or indoor assigned parking spot once or twice a week. Alternate driving my W203 every so often.

never garaged. weathers all colorado has to offer. the clear coat MB puts on is tougher than I've seen other cars. I envy those with a garage, but can't complain since I have never had one since I've been driving.

Most of the storage places here where I am are all one level and storing cars in them is a regular occurence. That is unfortunate to hear that you are having such trouble getting someone to store yours. Is there no RV/Boat/Car storage anywhere near you?

I try to keep it inside as often as I can (garage at night) and try to park as fall as I can away from other people.

This car definitely gives me excersise. Parking far away in a parking lot will definitely help me lose weight so that I might fit in the seats better.

Geeze.....AMG thought of everything.

Seems like most owners on this forum know really little about car detailing and paint maintenance. With proper paint care your car can defiantly survive outside. It will just require more frequent clay baring and waxing to make sure all the tree sap and industrial dust that gets embedded into the paint from being outside gets removed.

I personally can not stand a dirty car, and clean the bad boy every weekend.

I can appreciate your feelings.

Me, I don't mind some dirt and a little carbon build up around the tail pipes. I think it adds character and I like it. I wash once a month. Mercedes paint is pretty tough.

It's the random kid learning how to ride a bike into my fender, hail damage, falling tree limb, or buffeting winds from a storm that bothers me.
