507 Acceleration Stripes on Non-507 C63
Some like the stripes, most don't like them.
I, for one, like them!
Would it be considered "poser-ish" to put them on my non-507?

I can't recall if they "507" on them or anything. If they do, then poser. If not, then stripe it up. As long as you're not running around with bogus badges then I say go for it.

I don't know. It's a visual cue that it's a 507. It's the only version that has those stripes, so I'd say it's poseroid at least.
On the other hand, I really don't like them and would consider removing them if I had a 507. That would be cool. Sleeperoid always trumps poseroid.

Very likely anyone who knows our cars would assume a 507 at first glance (precisely the effect posers are after - not to say this is your intention)
oddly, I think the stripe coloring is slightly off. I want it darker, and to pop more with the black wheels. I almost feel like a hypocrite pulling off a gen 507 stripe and replacing with a darker replica 507 stripe :-|

Not anymore poseur than non-LCI cars with LCI upgrades (bumpers, diffusers, etc.).
Not anymore poseur than non-Black Series cars w/ BS body kits.
Both cars are receiving non-original parts. Neither of these things are frowned upon.
I look at the stripes as mere aesthetic modifications, just like the aforementioned upgrades.

For me it is no problem to have those stripes on a non 507.
I'm not trying to make my car look like a 507, I just like the stripes
I was thinking about some stripes on the side before AMG released the 507.
At least I just liked the 507 design more the my own creation
This was what I did with photoshop in 2012.
I was inspired of an orange black series with some black stripes and an AMG badge on the side

Well....most C63's it seems are tuned just a little bit and making anywhere from 517 hp on up.
There's one around here with black 19 in spokes. I know he is pushing 600 plus but no stickers stripes etc just a loud bad boy scream when he punches the gas and pulls away.
I may put the long tube headers on too. I mean there's no where to use 600 hp+ but it is nice to touch the gas and go. Gotta watch the speedo as it is. First thing you know you're cruising at 100+. Can't tell it from forty except the scenery seems to change more frequently .
