2 members have mentioned issues with tuning 2013 c63 coupes, non pp, which could shed light onto whether or not this is an issue or just rare case. The outcome for one member was having to send the ecu to be tuned.

On the flip side of some experiencing a tune not taking, I totally muffed the correct tune process (didn't turn ignition to step 2, only to 1), and the thing still friggin' worked! So I got my tune when I necessarily shouldn't have! And BTW, my kung fu is FIERCE... ;-)

I like the easter egg idea. Something like once tuned the hazards flash 3-5 times. Something more like a one time deal rather than every time I rev up my wipers go. Someone try to show their manhood by revving up for a crowd would have to explain why their wipers continuously go off.

I never tuned my c, so, first question would be was the car on?
If the car is on, then your radiator fan is kicking on to cool the car off. Such as if you're in stop and go traffic, because you aren't moving the fan will have to kick on in order to cool the car. When you're driving the fan doesn't have to be on.

No, car's off, ignition turned to position 2. Never even heard the fan blare like that during any driving. It was full blast, high speed, and pretty much told me that the car was being tuned. I hadn't even driven the car in a day so it was cool also. Read somewhere else that the fan kicks on during tuning, IIRC.
and the c63 speed discussions were pretty funny... car we were just playing with (non benzo) was doing 2.6 second 100-150mph runs lol... now that is fast..

There are also no instructions on the instructions manual about how to check which map is installed.
