Curious Questions Regarding Aftermarket/Stock Headers And Exhaust
Hey guys, hope everyone is enjoying the week soo far. Just had questions regarding headers/exhaust system; for those who have put headers and/or exhaust systems (high flow cats, etc) on the C63, do you get your STOCK headers and/or exhaust parts back or does the shop keep them with the price you pay? If they give it back, what do you do with them? (Selling them would be hard I can imagine). Thank you.

I figured, of course. From my experience, shop took my resonators without even telling me, thought it was 'part of the price'. Regardless, I'm just curious to know, for those with aftermarket headers and exhaust off the AMG models, are they able to find people that want these parts? I figure that someone would possibly buy the stock part off you if they want to switch back to a stock set up (if the buyer sold their stock parts that is). Or are there shops that buy these parts? I know sounds like a stupid question but i'm just curious what others have done/how easy it is to sell..thanks.

not a stupid question, i've seen stock parts for sale on the classifieds here all the time. to your point, if someone saves their stock parts then no reason to buy if they want to go back to stock, but if damage occurs then folks out there need replacements. take a look at the classified forums and you'll see what I mean. Tell them you want them
Keep them
Sell with the car
It increases the value for the right buyer more than you can sell them for
Or reinstall to oem and sell the a/m stuff
Non modded cars are easier to sell in general
