Mercedes OEM Camber/Crash Bolt Question

Been searching all over the net trying to figure this out...

When I purchased the bolts today at the dealer they told me there are 2 per side (Side as in Left and right)
One for the camber and one for the caster

I told them I only needed to adjust camber so they said I only need one bolt per side.

The confusion while searching was that everyone said you needed 1 "SET" per side. I didn't know if SET meant 2 bolts or 1. Or if the SET meant the one bolt, 2 washers and 1 nut in a package

So what's the verdict? We just need 1 set (1 package) per side to adjust camber by 1/2 a degree?

Oh if anyone is wondering here are my alignment settings

Front Left: -3.51* camber 0.18* Toe
Front Right: -3.25* camber 0.17 Toe
Rear Left: -1.85* camber 0.16 Toe
Rear Right: -2.55* camber 0.11 Toe

Before this alignment my front toe was over 1 total and rear toe was 0.9 total (Fronts got eaten up) Rears were in pretty good shape.

thanks in advance!

How much are they charging for a set? I got 2 installed at my dealer. They billed me for 2 of 000-333-10-71 at $35.15 ea for $70.30 parts total before tax. Does this shed any light on your question of what is included in a set?

Hey Mort,

Thanks for the reply! I paid the same as you.

So I guess I have what I need... 2 Sets (2 bolts in total one for each side)

Hi, just checking as I plan on doing mine soon. In clarifiying, do I need (2) of the 000-333-10-71 ? Is this the Crash Bolt Kit everyone refers to?

Thanks!

Yes. That part number will contain the bolt, lock nut and washers for one side of the car.

It can be used for adjusting either camber or caster.

If you are planning on having all 4 adjusted during an alignment I suggest buying 4 before hand.... If one or the other doesn't need to be adjusted you can always return 2.
