2014 C63 AMG 507 sedan
My first C63 was a 2009 model without keyless-go and I had the same desire to get it installed.
After looking into the needed accessories and the installation cost, I was shocked and decided to live without this feature.
According to MB, it is technically feasible, but it will be extremely expensive. I own a 2011 model now and it came with keyless-go, it is a great feature and I wouldn't buy any car without it anymore.
But back to topic, I support the first reply!

Yep it is not all about adding a button.
You will need new door handles, a radio control unit in the trunk, wiring harnesses and probably coding. Too much hassle and expensive!

Wow! That is insane. It is definitely an worthy option for $650 from the factory. Too bad previous owner passed on it

Keyless Go involves all sort of antennas inside doors and other places in the car. If you think about it for a second, it takes a fairly sophisticated radio setup to be able to tell if a key is in your pocket just outside the car or in your briefcase in the trunk. These antennas are the expensive thing to retrofit.
This is old but is gives you a sense of what's involved:

And by installing just the button in place of the ignition key barrel
You walk up to the car and with no action
Unlocks doors
Push button car starts and can be driven?
No conventional key involved
How can that be???

So you have none of the antennas or the special card key

SeanOgrady your car obviously has the Keyless Go option installed. Get someone to run your VIN and get the data card. That will show the factory options installed on your car. Try a new battery in your other key and see if it works. Did you buy the car new? The previous owner may have been having problems with the keyless go or lost the button and did not want to go to the expense of fixing it. If the tops of your door handles are chrome your car has keyless go.
