Limited slip differential fluid change for new C63?
Hey people, dealership told me that it is important to do a LSD fluid change at 3,000km (1864 miles). Some people are saying it's complementary, others are saying we have to pay and it's a ripoff.

It's very important. That first charge of oil comes out with all kinds of garbage in it. You pay for it (unless you have prepaid maintenance). Or do it yourself. Just get that first fill of oil out of that diff.

The owner's manual states to do the initial change at 2000 miles (new car), then again at 40k miles. whether you pay or not is based on your pre-paid maintenance.

It's easy to do, just two plugs and three .5 Liter bottles of oil that you can get at your local dealership
You also need thread sealer for reinstalling the drain and fill plugs. I use Permatex high temp thread sealer.
