Anybody in SoCal with long tube headers?

Kinda worried about how loud the car is gonna end up being hahaha. After coming from a ridiculously loud 335i. Would really like to keep the c63 at a nice tone but still be able to roar.

Local in SoCal so I'll probably be getting the oe tune unless you guys recommend something else.

Appreciate any info! Loving my new c63

If you thought a 335i was loud then just don't do headers. For some, headers is what they want in sound. But it is louder than that 3 series for sure.

Do secondary cat delete first, you'll get a bit more bark there.

The problem with the 335 n54/n55 is that they drone a lot and IMO don't sound good even then. My bro in law had one with ar catless downpipes and muffler delete cruising on the highway resulted in instant migraines because of the drone and the sound was just OK at full throttle. A c63 with headers is almost stock like with no drone on the highway but as soon as the revs get above 2500 rpm it's a monster and sounds wayyy better then an n54. Best of both worlds can't go wrong. The secondary cat delete was nowhere near enough for me

Exhaust noise and loudness is super subjective and as such everybody on the internet will have different definition of what's loud or not

I would suggest going to a local meet and hear / ride in c63s with LTs so you can make the right decision

Either way you can't go wrong as c63 is my favorite sounding car on the road, even in stock form!

What setup did you have on your 335i? You said muffler delete, I'm guessing with downpipes as well?

For you guys in social with headers and cat deletes, do you have any issues with emissions/registration? Thats the only thing holding me back from getting long tube headers.

OP, I'll be going to Cars and Coffee in Irvine this weekend if you'd like to hear my C63. You can see my setup in my signature. IMO it's perfectly fine for daily driving and only gets loud when you drive in the higher RPMs.

So down hahaha. I'm just worried about cold start. Bought my own car at 20 but can't move out until early next year hahaha. Can't anger my parents again with a loud car

Change of plans. I won't be making it to CnC this Saturday. I'll be participating in the LSG rally.

What makes your set up good for daily driving? The X pipe or the Cats? I just bought Headers today through Eurocharged for my Black series.
