Weistec Stage II C63 goes 10.8
Good luck either way?
I am not 100% sure this is the problem as I didnt think the car has enough torque to do it but I might be wrong, its just something I might try to see if it helps improve the times.
From here Ill see if I can do some tweaking with the setup, remove a little weight, see if I can get to a 10.5 or 10.6.

Weight reduction 300-400 lbs (see Mthis) and skinnies on the front = 10.5

225 might be enough for a 1.7 60' but to get to 1.5 or below I would think you need more meat than that. 255 will get you there
Bead lock wheels or what he mentioned previously
Turn it up!
Was talking to Charlie his definitely spinning the tire on the rim that's why he couldn't get under 1.7x. His stg2 is moving

Yea that's definitely a problem. It's hauling *** for sure!

I started at 19psi, my 60ft were 1.69, 1.70, 1.70, I dropped it to 16psi to see how that went and went 1.73 60ft. In saying that the last run was later in the night so the track had dropped in temp and there was no action on the track for an hr because of coolant leak in a car, so the track temp would have dropped substantially and could have contributed to the bad 60ft time.
Any suggestions Eks?
I was thinking about a 2nd space saver for the front and can get one but I'm not confident that they will withstand the beating they will get. Has anyone tried them at the track with success? I'm guessing they will need proper drag front rubber.
The trick is just getting the car to hook with a drag radial.

As a last resort, look into beadlocks..
ps the popular choice seems to be to use Permatex High Tack gasket sealant.. just brush it on let it sit for a few 15 min or so and then inflate.
