It's Official.. Chrysler are absolutely bonkers - 707HP Charger
No price, no manual, but absolutely nutters for a 4k+ pound car...
I'm also guessing the interior will be crappy like all other others.

I can only imagine what the R&D would be on an AWD system that could handle 707hp.
Jeezus.

Original: Based on something that was posted to Jalopnik a while back (I think it was a notice to NHTSA about which vehicles the engine will go in), it will only be the Charger and Challenger.

Then I list the options I lost going to a Mercedes....
I miss my remote start and vented seats (both standard in the SRT).
The radio/nav on the other hand was an absolute piece of garbage, but at least that could easily be replaced, unlike the one in our MB's.
Not sure if the refreshed GC's have a better interior then the 2012's had.

Because the 8.4" Uconnect is the best (THE BEST) in the industry.

Let's see...I'll take that Charger (white is fine) and add:

Pulley kit
Headers (cat delete)
Meth or E85
TUNE
Quad-tips mufflers
CF front splitter
CF rear deck wing
CF rear bumper splitter/valance
Then lowered it about two inches.
I'll bet with those mods that **** would be a BIGGER 'ol monster.
I bet that from the factory, it will handle just as good or a little better than the P30 C63amg...if so, that's good enough for me.
At the end of the day though, I would prefer the Jeep SRT-8 Hell-Cat if they make it.
Nevertheless, I think I may be saying goodbye to my 2009 C63 and hello to this new Charger

Its funny, people are bagging on the Mopar products. The performance they offer, with impressive build quality, at a reasonable price point is pretty impressive. My Son's 2013 Charger R/T is built far better than my E63
My E63 is in the shop now because I can't hear people on the bluetooth because the speaker vibrates so much. Also, there are far more rattles, buzzes and creaks in this car than any other car I have had, Mopars included.
And don't get me started on the Pano Roof. No one can get the popping and creaking out of it.
I really like the way my E63 drives and performs, but the build quality is NOWHERE near where a $120K car should be. Perhaps the S Class cars are built better. My wife's C63 is built way better than my E.
If I can get awesome performance and solid build quality in a $60K car, sounds like a good deal.

I agree!

However, my experience was in reverse...my now sold & gone 2008 E63 was much quieter vs my current 2009 C63. My C63 has more rattles and cracking sound than I don't know what. I thought maybe it was my car, but no! I've driven and ridding in friend's C63's and they too have many of the same noises and cracking sounds. No car is perfect, but dayum

IMO, overall and in generall, the E's are a couple of steps above the C in terms of ammenities, interior, ride and so on. However, the S class - they are at another level...the C feels cheap vs. the S.

Yep, some people will beat-up on any other car if not built by Mercedes or BMW or Lexus or whatever. Many of those people better start recognizing that Dodge has cleaned up a lot of its mess...and looking good.
Anywho, once things are ironed out the car will be saweet. My beer gut isn't big enough to consider ownership of one yet though.

I haven't owned an SRT product before but my first impressions were positive.
Even if you're not a fan this raises the bar for all automakers (barring complete mechanical failure issues.)
Great work Dodge...
Either way, it was an absolute piece of crap.
The new UConnect system is fantastic. Especially in the SRT's because they have tons of SRT Track tools (1/4 mile slips, 0-60, G-Force, etc) all built in.
Only problem is car is down on power right now, after dealer looked at it, last year. Took it back aand whn I left it was it's old self. started up the next day and back down on power.
