Edition 507 Dyno Result Eurocharged V5 update
I did the V5 tune today @ Eurocharged toronto. Folks there are amazing. The car amazed me as well. It pulls 418HP to the wheel bone stock! V5 makes a big difference not only power but better shifting. Im very happy with the result
Here's an update after I installed the K&N air filter and retuned to optimize air flow. Car gains 1.4HP to the wheel, makes 443.7HP now. One thing I have to consider is the weather is much hotter this time than my first dyno day.

I think people need to know the full story that a different 507 sedan with V5 tune, filters, and resonator/secondary cat delete only put down 426.3whp on that same dyno just moments before!
In addition Jonathan's C63 sedan put down 448.3whp with MHP Headers, and IPE Catback exhaust with MHP Tune.
Your car posted freak numbers!

You gained 30HP to wheel with tune only!
How much can a C63 P31 gain from a tune?
As well what was the baseline on the other two cars that are being compared to?

He does have a strong car for sure....most people are getting that with a tune. When i spoke with jonathan, he was having a random problem with his IPE catback, where his electronic flaps were randomly opening and closing by themselves so there could be room for more to the wheels because they were low numbers compared to some we have seen on the boards. Saj, i believe he has AR headers not MHP. On a side note, i can't wait till you get the headers on your BS....its gonna be a beast!!!

Good numbers from the V5 Tune.
I gained 50WHP from V5 tune compared to my stock file.
Also - don't be surprised some C63's are putting down some serious power with just a tune.
My car is Non P31 and no headers and still doing 440ish WHP. Cant wait till my headers get in
These pulls done in 4th gear since its 1:1. However, I think in a 5th gear pull and no limiter the car would do near 450 WHP
PS: This dyno is on the same Eurocharged Toronto Dyno Dynamics machine.

nice numbers! The v5 tune is incredible! Coming from a v4 update I can't believe how different the car feels. The shifts are noticeably better and it feels like it's got a power bump as well!

As for the dyno #, it's very impressive to see that 507 with only a tune. Are cars built differently or every 507 sotck with a V5 tune would have done the same numbers on that same day?

Thats nuts! That's the thing with handbuilt engines. Another variable to account for. I know when i did a baseline with my P31 i ran a bit lower as baseline as compared to other P31 baselines. I gained 38 whp after the V5 tune on that same dyno at Eurocharged as OP.
Although keep in mind, my car had filthy filters.

Sorry I mistyped that, you are correct.
However, I am still curious to see what it will do in a 5th gear pull.
As for the Affalterbach with the headers, the numbers seem very low for the kind of mods he has. A quality header + Tune setup should be doing 460-480 WHP without a sweat.
I expect 500 WHP with my headers and dyno tune.

Dyno's read differently. Not only that, but conditions and everything matters.
You all know this. Someone in Denver is going to have different numbers than someone in NYC. Same thing as a dyno in NYC in November vs a dyno run in July. Same place, same dyno, different numbers.
So all of this "your car is an anomaly" etc. really doesn't mean too much. You need to document changes in power from a baseline to really understand the differences. Cars are not coming from the factory making 30whp differences with the same packages.
Going to the OP, this is same day information. So that is a step in the right direction but OEM baselines would have been nice.

That all makes sense but when 1 507 is making the same power stock as a tuned 507 on the same dyno on the same day that would make the stock 507 'special'.
Then for it to go and gain 30whp with just a tune is huge! Especially since it then started making the same amount of power as a tuned P31 sedan with headers on the same dyno on the same day!
So yes this 507 came out of the factory with a 30 hp difference!
